Copyright & Open Access Policy
Learn about our open access model, author copyright retention, and licensing agreements.
1. CC BY 4.0 Open Access License
The International Journal of Medicine and Technical Research (IJMTR) is a fully open-access journal. All articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
This license permits anyone to:
- Share: Copy, distribute, and transmit the article in any medium or format.
- Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercially.
Provided that the original authors and the source journal are properly cited and credited.
2. Author Copyright Retention
We believe that authors should retain control over their intellectual properties. In contrast to traditional subscription journals:
- Authors retain **full copyright** of their articles without restriction.
- Authors grant IJMTR a license to publish and identify itself as the original publisher.
- Authors grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its original authors and citation details are identified.
3. Self-Archiving & Repository Policy
Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional or subject repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, arXiv, university databases).
Since all articles are open access under the CC BY 4.0 license, there are no embargo periods. Authors may archive the **Submitted Version (Pre-print)**, **Accepted Version (Peer-reviewed manuscript)**, or the final **Published Version (PDF / Publisher's Version)** anywhere, at any time, provided appropriate links to the original publication URL or DOI are included.
